The Loop | A 360° Approach to Public Relations in Chicago

On March 7-8, 2014, pre-professional public relations and journalism students from across the country will assemble on the downtown South Loop campus of Columbia College Chicago for a two-day conference highlighting some of the most popular fields in PR.

  • Learn more about what it takes to be successful in lifestyle public relations, from speakers with experience in restaurant, hospitality, luxury, and fashion.

  • Traditional public relations can be viewed as passé, but learn how exciting a career in this field can truly be, in one of the largest cities in the United States.

  • In the realm of digital public relations, there is no such thing as a #badday. Social media strategists in Chicago are innovative and exciting! See what it takes to make your client stay on top, from community engagement to new and emerging social technologies.

  • Learn more about the innovative and experimental field of new media. Public relations/journalism students interested in this option are invited to attend our Media Training Camp, which will run during the second half of our general assembly (Saturday, October 12, 2014.) This is an interactive session; all participants are required to participate in group activities. Space is very limited for this opportunity; please register as soon as possible to guarantee your spot.
